Claude Code official plugin directory

Anthropic's plugin marketplace for Claude Code, with Anthropic-built plugins for code review, security review, plugin and MCP development, plus vetted partner plugins.

Install

  1. Browse

    /plugin

    Open the Discover tab. The claude-plugins-official marketplace is available in Claude Code by default.

  2. Install one plugin

    /plugin install <plugin-name>@claude-plugins-official

    Each plugin carries its own license; the repo's Apache-2.0 covers the directory itself.

The plugin directory Claude Code ships with. plugins/ holds plugins Anthropic builds and maintains; external_plugins/ and the marketplace file list partner plugins that Anthropic has accepted through its submission review.

Before you install

Anthropic’s own README says it does not control what partner plugins include or whether they change. Treat a partner plugin like any third-party skill or MCP server: read it, and scan it at the commit you install. security-guidance sends your diffs to the Claude API on every turn and on git commit; set ENABLE_STOP_REVIEW=0 or SECURITY_GUIDANCE_DISABLE=1 if you don’t want that.
