Anthropic’s reference set of finance plugins. The core financial-analysis plugin carries the modeling skills and slash commands (/comps, /dcf, /lbo, /3-statement-model); vertical plugins add investment banking, equity research, private equity, fund admin and KYC workflows. Named agent plugins (Model Builder, Earnings Reviewer, Market Researcher, Pitch Agent) bundle the skills they need.

When to use it

You want a structured first draft of a comps table, DCF with sensitivity tables, LBO or three-statement model built in Excel.
You need an earnings note, initiation outline, IC memo or sector overview that follows analyst conventions rather than a generic summary.
You already pay for FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook or similar and want the agent to pull from it directly.

Before you install

The financial-analysis plugin adds 11 remote MCP connectors in one go. Disable the ones you don’t subscribe to so the agent doesn’t try them. This is a separate repo from anthropics/skills; the xlsx-author and pptx-author skills here overlap with Anthropic’s document skills.

Limits

Models make arithmetic and data errors. Check every input the model pulled or typed, every formula it wrote and every link between tabs before relying on the numbers. The repo itself says nothing in it is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and outputs are drafts for a qualified person to review. Nothing here is investment advice.
